I have practiced law in Northern New Mexico for 19 years in the areas of real estate, mediation, business, trademark, civil litigation, estate planning and probate.  My focus now is primarily mediation of these areas of law.

As someone who has helped clients navigate disputes within and without the judicial system over the years, I have come to greatly appreciate the art of mediation to resolve issues ranging from the technical to the emotional.  Mediation allows participants to engage in meaningful dialog to find lasting solutions. The parties have a seat directly at the mediation table, helping to craft mutually agreeable solutions.  This process is often much less stressful for the parties, with enormous time and cost savings.

I enjoy helping mediating parties work towards resolution while offering thoughtful analysis and support along the way.

“Claudia was amazing. Her ability to quickly understand my situation and grasp all the facts helped her assess and have a course of action. She was able to do all the background work in a timely and efficient manner and then formulate a plan. She was able to negotiate on my behalf and come to a settlement that exceeded my expectations in both time and amount. I could have not asked for a better outcome or legal representation. I would highly recommend Claudia to anyone who needs help for any case, big or small.” - Fred, New York

“We hired Claudia to help us address an insurance claim with our HOA. Claudia was professional, knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. We would strongly recommend her to anyone requiring real estate legal counsel.” - Anonymous Client

“Claudia’s ability to communicate with others clearly, calmly, and concisely are wonderful qualities for any person to have, but they are a true asset in an attorney. In even the most stressful of situations, she remained focused on the bigger picture, fighting on my behalf with integrity, passion, and intellect.  I have, and will continue to recommend Claudia to friends and family, with full confidence they will be skillfully taken care of.”  - Jennifer, Santa Fe, New Mexico

“Claudia’s intelligence, warmth and professionalism add a sense of safety and trust to any legal process. She has helped me understand my rights as an employee and made seemingly complicated documentation steps easy to navigate. I highly recommend Claudia!” - Erin, Santa Fe, New Mexico

“Claudia represented me in a complex negotiation with a former tenant among other matters. She effectively communicated both with me and opposing counsel and helped me negotiate a favorable result. Highly recommended.” - Ken, Santa Fe, New Mexico

“Efficiently drafted and supplied me with a waiver of liability. Great communication and quick turn around time. I have worked with Claudia in the past and would recommend her highly and work with her again.” - Raphael, Santa Fe, New Mexico

How few there are who have courage enough to own their faults, or resolution enough to mend them.
